Refilling Inkjet Cartridges: Part 2

There are a few things you may come across when refilling inkjet cartridges that might be a little different from what you’re used to. If you’ve used inkjet printer refills before you may ignore the manual since you already know what you’re doing, but it’s a good idea to check the manual, since not all printer refill kit manufacturers are the same.

The method of refilling inkjet cartridges also differ depending on the inkjet cartridge you use. Some printer refill kits may require that you close the opening of the cartridge once you’re done refilling.

Other inkjet printer refills may require that you pump out all the air from your cartridge before refilling. You might find that some kits require that you increase the opening size so you can refill the cartridge.

Regardless of these differences, refilling inkjet cartridges only takes 5 to 10 minutes, so it really is a no-brainer when you consider that you only pay 20% compared to the cost of a brand new cartridge.
