If you want to make the most of refilling inkjet cartridges then it’s a good idea to try and prolong the life of your inkjet cartridges. One way of doing this is by keeping them moist. Keep your inkjet cartridges topped up with ink so that they don’t dry out.
If ink dries up inside or on the inkjet head, this may ruin performance. Printer refill kits are designed to reuse inkjet cartridges when they become empty. Because they are far cheaper than brand new inkjet cartridges they can save you at least 75% in most cases.
Apart from saving you money, they’re good for the environment since you will be reusing the empty cartridges you would normally dispose of. Keep in mind though that inkjet printer refills can only be used on undamaged inkjet cartridges. So make sure the cartridge has no cracks and isn’t leaking before you fill the cartridge.
Avoid leaving refilling inkjet cartridges until the cartridge is completely out of ink. Top up the cartridge just before it runs out as this will help extend the life of the cartridge.
